Very casual local spot so don’t expect anything fancy. We came and started with the chicken soup which was light, fresh and needed in this cold weather. For mains we had both the lamb and chicken roti, the food was tasty and the portions were very large!
Delicious selection of typical Surinamese dishes. Take away is possible and relatively fast. Nice and friendly staff.
I have been coming here for years, mostly for takeaway meals, but when it’s sunny outside I eat them on the terrace. The staff is nice, the roti’s are excellent although I would recommend to avoid the vegetarian option because it’s a bit tasteless. That is the only downside to this place, hence 4 stars. They sell all sorts of Surinamese dishes and drinks. Staff is nice and polite, and amicable. I wish the opening hours were a bit longer and that it was open every day.
The place seemed nice, but the bami was worthless. I paid ten euros for what essentially tasted and looked like a mediocre pasta arrabiata. Perhaps the other dishes taste good.
