Florent is a hidden gem in Utrecht. I heard some good stories about their meals, and the rumors were definitely true. The friendly and knowledgeable crew served a great and complementary 4 course meal. The courses and ingredients were like a great music album were the songs are thoughtfully put in a certain order. Along with each course they also had excellent wine suggestions. Also, they were happy to answer all my ignorant questions :D

GREAT restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. Best place I’ve eaten in Utrecht by far.
Second time Florent for me, food was ok but the two mains were unfortunately to much alike. Too much of a truffle oil aroma, glad we didn’t add the fresh supplement of truffle. Wine pairings were under par, very little explaining “this red wine is from Australia”. Ok. The first time was great, it’s too bad some elements were missing like the great host I had the first time.
Great food, well presented. Nice atmosphere. You could talk on normal volume.
We had a great night at Florent. The staff is very nice and makes you feel welcome. The cheff really knows how to surprise his guests with food that both looks and tastes great!
