Syr is a fusion kitchen serving mainly Syrian food but with different cultural touches. They have vegetarian options as well as non veg. We tried the lunch menu: soup of the day, humus salad and pancake with banana with date syrup and they were all delicious. Syr is also a part of an organization that helps displaced people and organizes events. Also the interior design is very friendly and cute. I suggest you drop by sometime, it is also located at the center of Utrecht very close to Dom Kerk!

It's a Syrian restaurant. Although it 's not a vegetarian restaurant. But their offers several vegan food . Very nice restaurant. Very tasty food and friendly staff. The food is a mix of Syrian and European food

Loved it! You get plates with all sorts of different and very tasty foods, and you can easily share and enjoy together. The desert plate is THE best. Atmosphere is nice - neighbourhood is a bit quiet so not a lot of tourists. A little bit on the expensive side.

We expected kind of oriental food, but it was even better than that: it was Alice in Wonderland! Very creative dishes, extraordinary and an adventure of taste.

Fantastic atmosphere , and delicious food. If you have not tried Syrian food (I had not) give it a try, you will taste tastes you didn't know existed, but that are very delicious. Very friendly personal as well!
