Dear All We trust this note finds you well and in good health amidst this Covid-19 crisis. We would like to make you aware of a situation that we consider serious, taking place in our Building, managed by Socius Woning/SET. We have received an unjustified fine on behalf of your representative for smoking in our apartment, at our balcony. Our tenancy contract does not state in any claus the fact that smoking isn't allowed inside the premises. Attached you will find a copy of the Brochure stating the fact that it is allowed to smoke. Attached is also the signed fine/boete we received. Upon contacting the Politie, this last told us that we should not pay the fine and redirected us to Het Juridisch Locket knowing that this is a civil case. We got in touch with Het Juridisch Locket who confirmed that this boete does not legally stand and that we do not have to pay it. They also asked us to tell the same to the developer on their behalf, which we did. The boete may not be of a value in terms of amount but we are keen to make a point and not allow any such behaviour in the future. It is a shame and very unfortunate that this can happen in such a civilized country and we strongly believe that whoever commits such a \simple\ yet offensive act, may be capable of worse. We feel scared and annoyed. My boyfriend had to seek asylum in the Netherland as his life was threatened back home and this act committed on behalf of the building's management is traumatizing him. We both feel anxious of what may come next. None of our emails was answered and we wanted you to be aware of the fact that the said fine does not even comply with your own policies. we have been having issues since the day I lived here ( two years ) ago, it's all been reported to the management and we're yet to get an update! and KEEP CHECKING YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS as they may deduct some amounts from it - on top of the agreed rent - without your consent. be careful!
Socius Housing
Als je ooit iets gedaan wilt krijgen, moet je niet communiceren met Socius, maar met de eigenaars van hun panden of de huurcommissie. Zolang ze geen bericht hebben van de huurcommissie, een eigenaar of de politie doen ze niks. Ze betalen geld weken te laat terug zonder er iets over te communiceren, communicatie gebeurt pas wanneer je dreigt met de huurcommissie. Mijn verwarming is twee jaar lang kapot geweest, er reageerde pas iemand op mijn klachten toen ik ging dreigen met de huurcommissie. Ik zou nog honderd vergelijkbare verhalen kunnen vertellen, maar het komt er op neer dat Socius je financieel naait waar je bijstaat en weigert erover te praten.
Slecht of geen internet, gebrekkige communicatie, inadequate afzuiging in keuken en badkamer, schimmel die niet wordt aangepakt, financiele zaken niet op orde, en lampen die veel te lang niet vervangen worden. Al met al een verschrikkelijke organisatie.
Socius is het mooiste wat er is! Niemand kan ontevreden zijn je hebt een huisje met andere mensen erin! Blijf vooral in TW Socius Wonen. Dit jaar 2020 want dit jaar is nieuw, (NIEUW)?
