I have been a customer for years and have always been very happy with their service. Their pricing for repairs is very reasonable, quick service and they explain very well what the problem is and what they will do to fix it. Bought a new bicycle with them last year, same thing - great service and they really guided me through the buying process of what would be the best fit for my cycling needs. I highly recommend this bicycle shop!!

The previous time we came we were treated well while buying bags and a lock, but this time it was totally different. We had a flat tire so brought it in for repairs. When we picked it up we waited for about 15 minutes before someone helped us because he was on his phone arguing with someone without letting us know he would be with us soon. Not only was he quite short to us, after cycling about a 100m we've noticed the front brake wasn't attached anymore. Luckily my wife found out before crossing a street because it could've turned out very bad. I recommend going to another shop because the service is not good here.

Appalling. I have an idea it had something to do with only speaking English. I asked a simple favour - that they loosen a ground down bolt on the back wheel with the right tool for me. The young guy's response: "what do you want me to do?" Pathetic...I shimmered out and retreated to google reviews. What point is there in doing anything else and merely adding to their resentment?

Hoofdweg 650 - 652, 1055 AB Amsterdam If you are an expat read my experience and decide for yourself. My after sales experience was appalling and stressful. I regret to say I am extremely unhappy. :( I bought a electric bakfiets yesterday at Amsterdam shop. The buying experience was ok. The guys helped arrange a quick delivery as the bike was assembled. I paid them the money they asked for. I am thankful to them for delivering same day when it was raining. After I paid, they tell me the roof and other spares are missing and they have to get it from head office. They also agreed to deliver at my work place which is at rembrandtplein, Amsterdam. I agreed to all their excuses with a smile. Today, the agreement totally changed as per their convenience. Entire day my wife was following up(since I was in meetings) and they kept saying they will call when they have it but promised it will be delivered to me, at my work place. At 17:26, they call me and tell to pick it up from their shop and they close in 20 minutes. It was very irritating and when I ask why they can't deliver as they promised, they say they never agreed to deliver at my work place. Then kept telling one lie upon other and giving excuses. What hurt me the most was they finally started sounding as if they had done a great favor by selling their bike. Is this the way you build your brand van zaane ? Is this the way you provide service to your customers ? If you can't keep up promise then say so. If there was miscommunication we both could have said so. But instead you say things that I never said or agreed to and argue ? Finally I was asked to pick up things at Amsterdam shop, which I did, leaving a very important dinner meeting half way. Thanks for staying late for me. - a very hurt and traumatized customer !! :'(

Told him my problems, he gave me his price. When I came to pick up he did half what he promised and charged over budget.

Zo slecht!! nooit meer ! Very rude people who overcharge their bad "service".. 20 euros just for cutting my chain lock ( as my key broke in the frozen lock...). It is very appalling to see how they treat their customers in an inappropriate way and impolitely. do yourself a favor and find another bike shop!

Expensive service and never called to confirm if i wanted to pay 40 euros to change a metal part of the front wheel. A new wheel is same price.
