Food okay, I was lucky with steak. Others had duck which was over cooked and very though. Takes ages (literally 1.5 hour for soup,which was barely lukewarm). Desert nice. Staff friendly.

Mehhh, the place has a bit of an indentity crisis, it is a jazz place? or is it a restaurant? Lets start with the crew, they are all very friendly and helpful, so they do deserve 4 stars with ease. The problem is a bit with both the venue and the food. The venue feels like a jazz bar, but is a restaurant, and the more you look around you'll see small spots which could use some tlc. Then we move to the food. The food is good, but it lacks any kind of imagination. it is a plain vanilla as you can get. But on the other hand, if you go here on a wednesday and a thursday,, you will get a decent 3 course meal for only 19,50. And it is very hard to argue with that

Grand café Sax en Jazz, ben er meerdere malen geweest en telkens een groot succes of 't nu tapas of een 3 gangen diner is. Iedere keer weer smakelijk genoten van prachtig opgemaakte borden en 't heerlijke eten. Het is ook mijn favoriete plek voor spareribs zo geweldig mals. Het restaurant is ook op een heel jazzy style ingericht wat voor een relaxte sfeer zorgt kortom toppertje!

Doordat corona ons leven op de schop gooide en dus niet meer naar onze standaard restaurants meer kunnen gaan zijn we op zoek gegaan naar alternatieve afhaal locaties. Grand Café S&J is in dit geval een verborgen diamant. Het menu was gied en ruim voldoende. Het koude en het warme gedeelte werd gescheiden aangeleverd, erg slim. Personeel is spontaan, net en beleefd. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
