Some people (women) in the reception look extremely unhappy and unhelpful. Would be good to evaluate customer service as there are so many complaints about this and if they dont love their job is extremely unpleasant to come here! Im currently a student and enjoy my class but will make a proper complaint when this is over!

The reception just very unprofesional , i came 2 weeks before the lesson started, no docents available to do placement test for me, they said the test has been closed. She asks me to come in the same day of the 1st day of the lesson 1 hour before the class begin, she said that is enough space for me to join the les, i dont have to make payment just pop’s up and there will be a docent give me placement test. I have accepeted for the level i wanted join then after i fill in the inschrijven formulir, the receptionist said the class has been full and i am now in the waiting list. Now i realized that she only use me as a backup meanwhile poeple that did placement test on time and not making payment before the class started. She just want make sure to make more money from people that late coming for placement test. I’m so upset the way she treated me. It’s very unfair that now i’m wasting 2 weeks and need to wait another cursus possibility. If only she said directly full class or i am only the back up i might try to find another school !!! This is very unpleasant for such a big school/ university/ organization !!!

Wander Lust

A couple of years ago I had a course in Brazilian-Portuguese for my travel wanderlust. The building is Utrecht-style older which makes some rooms beautiful (but a bit unhandy). The course itself was really ok as I still remember a lot of excercises, words and phrases whereas I sucked at an online attempt of doing Italian. Or perhaps because the teacher was a Brazilian, and most native speakers have the best ways of learning you to pronounce the words (kinda) right.

De Volksuniversiteit is de beste plek om de Nederlandse taal te leren! De leraren zijn slim en professioneel. Mijn les is ‘s avonds (met Anneke) en ze maakt de les heel interessant. Zij is de beste lerares ooit. Ik woon in Nederland pas 2.5 jaar en ik zit al aan het eind van het niveau C1. Aan de volksuniversiteit lees je niet alleen de taal maar ook het zelfvertrouwen. Ik was al in staat om mijn droombaan te vinden toen ik op A1 zat!

Met Rabobank teamleden vergaderd in ruime zaal op de zolder van deze lokatie. Een goed verzorgde lunch gehad. En even genoten van de prachtige tuin.
