Really nice place, a lot of thing to see, perfect place for children and also really interesting for adult people. A lot of attractions for every kind of people. Tou can spend there all day without getting bored. Food is also good and not too expensive. Place is clean and friendly. Really nice landscape. A lot of interesting shows about history of Nederland and also perfect shows with animals. I recommend this place! Regards

An excellent place for kids in 30 temperatures! An excellent water playground really helps to cool off, plus a few other modest attractions. Best to bring your own food though - 30 minute wait in sweltering indoor heat to pay for food at the single cash desk. Also disappointing that they don't send mussels despite a view of the mussel farm.

Don't understand why the ratings are low when the place is so great to visit. You see advanced windmills, seals, a boat trip and top of all, A history of 1953 North sea flood in a panoramic view.

Plenty of parking outside...short trip on the boat looking at the bridges...(people not keeping distance on boat)whale section was nice and sea aquarium..canteen ( only one person from family allowed in?) Show from what happened with storm 1953...was quite frightening..8 kids but saw alot children upset.. Going under the bridge was an experience.. But alot of people not keeping distance!! But had a nice time..

This is worth it mostly for the tour of the specific sluices of the Oosterscheldekering (Eastern Scheldt Storm Surge Barrier), and the unique solution the Dutch came up with after protests arose demanding the safeguarding of natural processes in the area. Unfortunately you are forced to pay the ticket to the park and a bit extra for the guided tours. Look for a discount if you're only interested in visiting the actual delta works.

What wonders man had wrought! Amazing to learn how the Netherlanders engineered and constructed thus ingenious dam to protect their homes and communities from flooding such as in 1953. Brilliant multi-media productions, personable & knowledgeable guides, themed playgrounds for the kids, and skilled sea lion trainers & show made this a most educational, pleasant, and amazing experience!

If you like civil engineering, must go see this structure. The playground, water park, water sled, and small aquarium are a nice way to kill a few hours. It's pricey for what it is but we did not regret stopping here.
