So delicious. Simple eatery but bright, clean, spacious, polite staff. Admittedly am a novice at Surinamese cuisine but have been inspired since arriving in Rotterdam to explore the food more and understand the history and culture that leads to such diverse flavors. Had the Saoto soup - ultimate comfort on a cold night - and the beef (rundvlees) roti - familiar from travels to SE Asia yet unique in its own right. Quick, well-priced, well-located on Witte de Withstraat.

Overall, great value for money. Typical Surinam takeout food. The Surinam sandwiches, teloh, rice and roti dishes are good. The saoto soup and pitjel on the other hand are a huge disappoint. No flavour at all. Busy around lunchtime and especially in the evenings in the weekend.
