The Brandaris is the big lighthouse on Terschelling. At night it is awesome to see the light go over the center of town.

Iconic lighthouse in the center of West-Terschelling village. Lot of shops and bars near it. Unfortunately you can’t enter the building or climb it.

De Brandaris blijft voor ons altijd het gezicht van Terschelling als je met de boot richting Terschelling gaat is dit het eerste wat je ziet. Ook snacht op het eiland blijft het een mooi gezicht als het schijnsel over het eiland gaat. Jammer dat die niet meer te boeken is van binnen. Dat staat nog steeds een keer op ons lijstje.

Het markante baken van Terschelling. Prachtige en statige vuurtoren. Altijd thuisgevoel als ik hem zie. Vroeger mocht iedereen erop. Afgelopen jaren een paar keer het voorrecht gehad om naar boven te mogen. Fantastisch uitzicht, echt bijzonder om daar te zijn.
