Being driven in by blasting wind and rain, this was one of the first places we saw open en with proper spacing during corona times. When we came in, the staff kept a proper distance and was quick with the menu which was great. We only got confused about the selfservice system for a second. We completely understood why this was installed due to corona and maintaining distance between staff and customers but for some reason it felt weird. It resulted in a bit less cozy feeling, which couldn't be helped by Paviljoen Jeroen I assume but still. As the wind kept blasting the place, we stayed for a while enjoying some flammkuchen as well as burgers which were all pretty well made. Our vegetarians were really thrilled about the seaweed burgers which according to them were really tasty. The goatscheese and spinach flammkuchen could've used a bit more cheese -or honey- to balance out the flavour of the spinach which covered most of the flatbread. I didn't mind but it was a bit overwhelming in some bites. But mostly, during the meal and just relaxing, were really happy that we never felt forced to continuously buy drinks as we were trying to take it easy. And Ihave to give extra compliments for Paviljoen Jeroen for allowing us to make our own mimosa's with the very fresh and tasty orange juice and a small bottle of cava. This was the most random concoction I've ever made in a restaurant/bar in the Netherlands, but our American birthday-boy insisted on having them and so the staff provided us with four champagne glasses and the ingredients to mix them ourselves. We now know that one full glass of juice, and one small bottle of cava makes for six quite decent mimosa's. And it really made his day, so thanks a lot for that!

Just had a ham&cheese sandwich to go - it was good with crispy bread and lots of tasty ham&cheese. The personell was very nice and friendly. It did take longer than I'd expect for a sandwich, even though there weren't a lot of people - thus the 4 stars, not 5.

Self service restaurant. Very nice setting. Great place to stop in, relax and get something to eat and drink.

Amazing service. The place is a bit run down, it's not too bad, I guess it fits the beach atmosphere somehow. But certainly not on the fancy side.
