Ordered a box of wine via vivino, noticed that it added 6 shipping fee. Got in contact with the shop themselves via website and ordered a second case which they then added onto the vivino order. That way I at least could split the shipping fee per bottle over more bottles. Great service, will definitely use this wine merchant in the future again. Quick shipping too!

I have ordered wine from them 22 days ago. Zillions of emails and telephone calls later I still do not have the wines that I have already paid for. Every time that I hear from them (i.e. if I do, mostly goes unanswered), they say that I will receive them in two days, in three days, on Monday, etc., but still nothing. Needless to say, when I do not receive the wine at the promised day, I never receive any information from them about the delay or when I should expect my shipment. Then I call again: rinse and repeat. I tend to think they are a fraudulent company, but it seems there are also people that are happy with them, so perhaps it is a one-off problem, but nevertheless they have been completely unprofessional and disrespectful to me. I will ask for a refund from Vivino and will never order from Bas Baan again. EDIT: After escalating the issue, I finally received my shipment. I say \my shipment\ instead of \my wines\, because four out of the twelve are different from what I ordered, which apparently was the reason for their long delay. On their defense, the replacements are of comparable price tag, but two of them are wines from a grape variety that I dislike. Again on their defense, they called me today to check back, and said that they are willing to change those two wines when they receive the wines that I originally ordered. Furthermore, they threw in an extra bottle of Amarone as a gesture of apology, which I appreciate. Accordingly, I am very content how they handled the problem in the last two days, but this does not undo my experience in the first 22 days. Now I am convinced that they mean well, so I don't feel negative about them anymore, but my humble suggestion to them is: keep your customers informed. My concern was not about speed, but about the promises not kept and being left in the dark.

Waiting for my order since the end of October. Terrible customer service. Almost no updates on the status of the delivery. Simply avoid.

Had Chenin blanc besteld uit 2018, maar kreeg 2019 geleverd. Gebeld met ze, bleek dat 2018 niet meer leverbaar was en de site nog niet aangepast was. Gebeld, kreeg als tegemoetkoming mooi flesje kado dat apart werd opgestuurd. Super afgehandeld en razendsnelle levering. Top!
