Large assortment of outdoor plants, but no houseplants (because it's a TUINcentrum, said the employee condescendingly.) I have a lot of experience with succulents (vetplanten) and was looking for specific soil additives to speed up evaporation/drainage (crushed pumice or granite). I was told I was wrong, and should be using cactus soil (already am) and hydrokorrels (definitely wrong). I emphasized again that I wanted to buy crushed granite or pumice, and was instead shown children's play sand. He then told me that I wouldn't need these products if I didn't overwater my plants. Just... no. I didn't expect him to have in-depth knowledge of plants they don't even sell - but when a customer asks for a specific product, a simple yes or no would suffice. Go ahead and tell me if you'd recommend something else, but at least show me what I asked for or simply say you don't carry it. Also, a large terracotta pot was 29.95. I went to Coppelman's and bought an identical pot for 3.55.
