What a gem! Very interesting museum, friendly staff, nice café and museum shop. Very compliant to COVID-19 rules, felt very safe!

I imagined this place when it was surrounded by water. A good place to remember how the early Dutch lived and fought with water.

Small museum with a lot of old exhibitions. Better to visit with museum card.

Very beautiful Unesco world heritage site. Very informative museum about this wet and windy former island. Also with English information.

Wonderful open air museum. A great way to get to know the history behind this former island in the Zuiderzee. For decades locals if Schokland tried to fight the da in order to call this island their home. Want to know all about it? Visit REISACHTIG.COM

What an interesting visit. Great walk through museum about how a village worked and lived in bygone tomes. The shop was neat and the restaurant homely with great staff that chatted about their museum. Well worth the drive to visit there.

The museum is nothing fancy but very nicely set up. It's small, if you take your time to read most of the (Dutch and English) information it will take you around 1 hour. There's also a short movie at the end to wrap it all up. There's more to see around the museum and in the nearby vicinity. You can easily spend half a day here, especially in summertime
