Recommended to me by the hotel receptionist, this place was a real find. An awesome carpaccio starter followed by a flank steak, medium rare with the most gorgeous sweet, young carrot's and incredible smoked bacon. Accompanied by a nice glass of pinot noir. Finished with a delicious creme caramel. Great service too, if a bit aloof. Highly recommended. Also went to breakfast which was also great. Eggs royale with a latte.
Beautiful restaurant in the north of Amsterdam with tasteful interiors and nice service. As all french restaurant the selection for vegetarians or people who don't prefer rare meat/fish is unfortunately quite limited, but all in all a nice experience.
The restaurant is tastefully furnished, making you feel at home. Staff was very helpful and service minded. The food was tasty as well. I loved the overall experience, where I would say the ambience overruled the quality of the food.
