It's not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. When I left, I got my deposit back promptly, no fuss no muss. If you take on a room be sure to get an inspection to come with you before you get the keys. My room was absolutely filthy when I got in.

After winning a lottery for a studio apartment on Roomspot, I agreed to take a studio wth this company and paid a deposit and months rent in advance. Due to the COVID crisis, I was not able to see the apartment before agreeing to the contract. This was a big mistake. Be very careful in Enschede. They always look to rip off international students. I recommend studying elsewhere.

Not nice at all. They make us pay 20 euro's a month for cleaning but the cleaners don't clean at all, they don't clean certain area's or don't clean at all. They also lost my signed rental agreement and then sent me an e-mail that if i didn't send one within a week they would kick me out of the house, even though they lost it. And there's more I could go on about. The staff I've met so far have been nice, but it doesn't make up for a thusfar seemingly badly run corporation.

The staff there are really friendly to students compared to other house hunting agencies. They understand your point of view, and try to make things possible according to you preference. Really happy with the survive. Even though the free walk-in office hours are a bit inconvenient for students since it's mostly between 12-14pm, they are always ready for your questions and willing to help.

Please note: starting April 2018, De Veste has moved to a very central spot in campus: in the Sky building (same building as grocery store but on the side of the soccer fields)
