Normaly, I don't bother with reviews but in this case I am going to make an exception. This place has horrible service and I am still contemplating to register an official complaint. They are suppose to open at six am. As I had a flight to catch I waited for them to open. By 6:15am they where still preparing everything and not open. I pointed this out to them, that I needed to catch a flight and that I wanted to be serviced. This led to them to point out, quite rudely, that they where having a system failure. In what world is a system failure a reason to not be ready on a designated time? I pointed out that I found this be a weird explanation. This got me the remark "to stop complaining". This is when the conversation turned sour. I told them I wanted to be helped, now, as I had a flight to catch. The help I got was the bare minimum and with rude sighs from the employee. The employee refused to hand me a receipt of the money transfer as well, also blaming system failure. As far as I know this is even an illegal thing to do by law when it comes to money transfers. Do yourself a favour and got to a different GWK. Because this one has the worst service I have ever seen.

Poor customer service and the guy is very rude.he told me that they dont do EUR refunds here in Schiphol(how could that be possible,we are in AMS where EUR is their currency) so he gave me in USD which i agreed upon but upon receiving the amount i am shocked i loose around 24 eur for the exchange rate!!!! They are ripping money for the tourist!

I think its a ripp of.... I see a differance of 20-25% off official rate..... I think a max if 5 to 10% us acceptable.. . This not

The worst company and customer service in the world!!!!!!!! If I have an option to give -100 star You are probably was there I was at Amsterdam schiphol airport last week try to get the tax money back there is 2 places one was belong to the government that was great and than this Awful place first come going to the desk and Waite 20 minutes and no one was there went to information they told me oh maybe tyhey on break after I come back still no one there I ask some employee they told me they have another desk downstairs I'm going there the woman at the desk was not nasty not friendly and not helpful she told me you talk to much seriously who the f... are you I went to you country spend Hundred of If you buy in store in Europe pay attention that the refund for the tax you want get through Travalex

Great exchange office, has pretty much all the currencies one would need. Has several branches on the airport which is convenient. The staff is kind and really willing to help. I do not understand the complaints about the fees in other reviews. The office is really transparent about its pricing such that one knows in front what the service charges are. It is true that their fees are quite high, but so is everything else in the airport. It is expensive to be able to provide such services at the airport and this is reflected in the prices. I think it is ignorant to make the transaction and complain about the prices afterwards.
