This was a sad and introspective moment. A modest, quiet and respectful place for all the LGBT who have died because of their sexual orientation. It was the first of its kind and proves how advanced this city still is on this matter.

The fact that this monument exists is a testament to the values of the people of The Netherlands. It's rather fitting that it is located just around the block from the Anne Frank House (and museum).
Just nearby Westerkerk, like few-step stairs made by few triangles, maybe it’s not too special but you can easily pass by and take a quick look. The scenery around is pretty.
Nice place to just sit and chill and observe people.
The idea behind it is very nice but monument itself is not very impressive. It is kept simple
