One star because google does not allow zero stars. The worst housing company you can have. They never answer to complaints. We have been three years without floor on the aisle (when they promised 1 week) and every two months the heating and hot water fails. We have been many times whole weeks in winter without heating and years with the front door of the building broken. Everytime they fix something is in the cheapest and worst way possible. They don't reply to emails, they just really don't care. If you try calling they say there are no employees available. When you finally manage to talk to someone they would always agree on everything, they would promise to take action and want just to hang up. They don't do anything they promised, it takes many people to complain several times to finally get an answer.

It is unbelievable how rude the customer service of this horrible company, the person who is answering the calls doesn't know the basics of respect! They are refusing to fix some major problems in my apartment, promising to fix other stuff but never happened! never replying to E-mails!
Terrible customer support and service. It's evident they don't need to provide a good experience because they can rent out anything in Amsterdam without much effort. They have some nice houses though.
Terrible service as the VVE, unanswered emails for months, you can never get hold of your property manager. In the annual meeting they lie about plans of things to be cleaned and fixed but this never happens.
I've been renting from Eigen Haard for almost 6 years now and I have very little to complain about.
