Nice ambiance and lovely hostesses. Very nice location on the canal. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced. Wines lack flavor, bit disappointing. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed. They have free shuttles from the parking lot a few minutes away and paid for parking. Thank you Bastion & Rogier!

Tujaro Kolase

We had a mix of Tuna tartare, smoke salmon with a Thai sauce, to die for fillet mignon and we even tried ‘sweet bread’ with our waiter’s recommendation. All were superb!!!! Deserts were one of the most delicious and creamiest Creme Brulee, Almond cake with Apple butter, ice cream etc. Some excellent, and unusual wines by the glass available.

Beautiful location along a canal. The weather was perfect and we dined outside. Ellen, the owner, was friendly, welcoming and paid attention to details. The food was fabulous and her wine recommendations were perfect for our dinners. It was so good that we dined there twice in our three day stay in Leiden.

Amazing food. Our group were very pleased with the service we received that evening. As we were an international group an English menu would have been appreciated but nonetheless the staff were helpful. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Leiden.
