What an amazing experience ️ the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and really care for the seals. You learn so much about them and their work - can only recommend!!! I don’t know why people here say it’s small. This place works on a donation-basis and for that the premise and facilities for the seals are huge. We watched seals being fed, one received medicine for an eye infection, and staff is super happy to answer questions and tell you more about the seals.

I've been to this beautiful place I think 10 years ago when I was a child, but I still remember it. It's magical and a wonderful experience for children, they will remember it for the rest of their lives. This centre is doing an amazing job.

A very nice way to spend 2 to 3 hours. Lovely, sweet seals that have been rescued. The staff are very helpful and will answer questions from all ages. Good for small kids and adults. Dont miss the virtual reality show....that makes it really worth it and you feel like your with the seals.

I went there this morning and it's been one of the best places I've been in the Netherlands. There are very cute seals and they teach you about how they take care of the seals and how they have found it. It's lovely.

Baby seals! If you have the chance take the „behind the scene“ tour, also available in English!! Informative exhibition, screening of movies about the seal rescue & release and also a gift shop as well as a nice outside area with cafeteria, outside seating and play area for kids. Approximately 30 min drive from Groningen.
