This statue was made to show where Anne Frank lived before she went in hiding. Jet Schepp made the statue in 1994 but had no support of being placed by the municipality. A local bookdealer colected signatures in 2004 to force hand in placd this iconic statue. A year later, the statue was standing. If you seen this statue before, there is a replica in Buenos Aires in December 2014, at the initiative of the Dutch embassy in Argentina and the Argentine Ministry of Education.
